Manifesto de McKinley

This is something that I've been meaning to do for quite some time now. This is a summary of what I believe in and how I go about living my life. This takes into account everything that I've been through in my life and all of my hopes for the future.

My life is just like anyone else's. I am a creature of habit. I have my faults and I have my strengths. I believe in love above all else. I don't care what your gender, race, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, political affiliation, or ethnicity you are; I am still going to love you. I believe in respect. Every living thing on this Earth, big or small, deserves respect and love and the space to live. Animals included.

I have been through my share of trials. I have stared death in the eye. I have wallowed in my own self pity and self loathing. I danced around the true solution to most of my problems because of fear. Fear that I couldn't handle a world without the crutches of excuses and hatred. I was afraid of seeing the world for what it really is because I knew what I would see. A world filled with heartache, hatred, mistrust, and injustice. But when I finally gathered the courage to open my eyes I realized something truly profound and earth shattering for my world view. Yes the world is filled with misery and wrongs. But there for every single act of hate and disrespect and malevolence, there is an act of goodness. Even if it's something as simple as one person giving an honest smile to another who is in distress. To something as large as stopping the oppression of innocent people around the globe. This fact was what opened my eyes. This is the force that drives me now. The fuel burning in the furnace that is McKinley.

I am not dedicating my life to fulfilling cheap pleasures of the flesh. There is a greater calling to which I am beckoned. I have been in the depths of despair and the horrors of depression and hate. I know how it feels. I know where everyone who suffers from these ills is coming from. And I am dedicating my life to being that helping hand that everyone needs to pick yourself up.

No matter how many times I am knocked down. I will get back up again. The determination in my soul will be matched by the power of my mind and the strength of my body. I will never turn my back on a friend. I will protect the weak and innocent. If you fall, I will be there for you. I will keep a clean conscience and a clean body by never compromising my beliefs and never willingly harm my one and only body by taking drugs and alcohol. I will not cheapen the experience of love by committing the physical act of love with someone who I am not fully,intimately involved with.

No matter how many times the world knocks me down. I will rise again with new resolve and new strength. I will love my enemy as I love my friend. I will love and protect my family and my friends. I will never physically harm a female and will always keep the females in my life from physical harm.

I will be the change I wish to see in the world. I will use the hatred of others as my fuel to further my goals and to motivate me even more to change the world for the better.

But most importantly... I will be myself. I will NEVER compromise my values. I will build myself to take on whatever is thrown my way. In my mind, body, and in spirit. I will always have faith in my principles.

NEVER back down.

NEVER give in.

NEVER give up.

From the ashes of turmoil both within myself and in the world in which I live I will learn from my mistakes and I will live in the present to better prepare for the future.

I will strive to make the best out of every situation. I will always see the best in my fellow human being.

I will always be myself.

No one can make you do anything that you don't want to do. YOU are your own boss. YOU make your own rules. NEVER let the media and the culture you live in dictate how you will act and how you will think. Believe in yourself.

When it seems like there is no way out; believe in yourself.

When it seems like the world is against you; believe in yourself.

When you feel there is nothing left in the world to believe; believe in yourself.

I am a vessel for good. My life is dedicated to being the best person I can be. To help anyone who needs my assistance. I will ALWAYS give my best. I will ALWAYS put my best foot forward.
